The Master Association for Rancho La Quinta has completed the acquisition of Rancho La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta, California, and annexed the property as part of the Associations’ common area.
LA QUINTA, CA, September 25, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — The acquisition was finalized on August 17, 2021, after members of the Association voted overwhelmingly (98%) to purchase the Country Club from T.D. Desert Development LP (“TD”), a subsidiary of the Drummond Company.
Rancho La Quinta is one of the finest country clubs in the desert and the goal of this transition is to become a unified community and club with no third-party involvement and to assure the long-term success of the club.
About Rancho La Quinta Country Club
In April 1993 TD purchased the 700-acre property now known as Rancho La Quinta. TD restored the golf courses and opened them for play in December 1993. The Country Club property consists of a 23,000 sq. ft Clubhouse, a 9,000 sq. ft Sports & Fitness Center, 9 tennis courts, 8 pickleball courts, a number of lifestyle amenities, and two 18-hole private golf courses – The “Jones Course”, designed by the highly acclaimed Robert Trent Jones Jr. and the “Pate Course”, designed by U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate.

Located inside the gates of Rancho La Quinta are 802 single family homes that partially comprise the Master Association for Rancho La Quinta, 95 detached courtyard homes called the Ventanas and 88 condominium homes known as the Casitas at Rancho La Quinta. Both the Ventanas and the Casitas are separately incorporated homeowners’ associations.
