NEW ORLEANS, LA, June 11, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — A celebrated advocate of the Cannabis movement and industry, Kyle is attending to represent/promote his cannabis companies Neuro XPF (THC-FREE/CBD), Turley Hemp (a personal line of Hemp products including 50 state legal, smokable, Hemp flower), and his partnership with Cannabis power player SHANGO (a multi-state, vertically integrated cannabis company) in promotion of the full opportunity in Cannabis today and its role in sports.
“Kyle’s incredible courage and fortitude have brought a quicker acceptance of cannabis and CBD to all people, but especially to those who exhibited bravery on the football field. His fight to give everyone a chance to heal numerous illnesses have made him a hero in the cannabis community,” say Shane McKee, Executive Vice President, Product Development for Shango. “Kyle has bridged the conservative world of athletics by providing a solution to the challenges of CTE and pain management.”
Known to most for his infamous 2002 helmet throwing incident in the Superdome defending his quarterback, Turley returns to the Crescent City to stand up for Louisianian’s rights to Cannabis and share his message of how it saved his life.
As a leader in advocacy for cannabis legalization, Turley has stood on the front lines driving his message of health and wellness through Cannabis across the country. Turley has appeared on ESPN Outside the Lines, Fox Sports1, CNN’s Weed #4 with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and The Doctors, to name a few. He made a trip to Washington DC, where he was able to share his message with many congressional members, including Louisiana State Representative Steve Scalise.
“If not for the healing powers of cannabis I would not be alive today. There is a price to pay for living this life and the game of football has a heavy tax. Cannabis saved my life and many others directly now because of my ability to use this platform. To be back in New Orleans, where it all began, is a blessing I must continue to share with the world.” ⁃ Kyle Turley

Diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) due to the 100-plus concussions he received during the 10 years he played as an NFL offensive lineman, Kyle Turley struggled with pharmaceutical addiction, violent thoughts, and suicidal tendencies — until he started taking medical marijuana. “It saved my life,” he says. “I wouldn’t be where I am today, I would not have my family, my kids, my house, everything I have right now, if not for cannabis.” To help save other lives, Turley founded the Gridiron Cannabis Coalition to use his story and those of other players to advance the idea of marijuana as a valid medicine for neurological conditions and other athletic injuries. “This plant has to be set free,” he says. “We have people committing suicide in football and other sports. How far do we have to go?”
Knowing the value of the plant and the hurdles that the government and big pharma has placed on marijuana, Kyle has created Neuro XPF, a lab tested, federal guideline compliant, THC-Free, CBD (Hemp derived) cannabis supplement focused on Bioavailability. CBD (cannabidiol) has shown in studies to have neuro-protective and antioxidative properties that could address a myriad of maladies facing our Military and NFL Veterans while supporting the general health and well being of all aged athletes.
