New store conversions, openings and 35-year franchise renewals set up Signarama for remarkable success

Dawn Bent, co-owner of Signarama Huntington, called the renewal “A no-brainer. Dawn opened her Signarama storefront in 1988 with her brother Mike and in 2009, purchased a large mixed-use building to expand their fabrication capabilities, which helped fuel their ongoing growth over the last 14 years. In September, Dawn moved Signarama Huntington to a new location that can better accommodate a high volume of full-service projects while maintaining quality and efficiency. With 25,000 square feet, the new facility features a dedicated showroom and design space, collaborative workstations, an industrial workshop, a large garage for onsite storage of their fleet of service trucks, an employee lounge, and conference rooms for team meetings and training.

Dawn Bent, along with the other owners of the extended franchises, cited the support from the corporate leadership team as a significant factor in renewing their agreements for another 35 years.

The brand also expanded into four new markets including Oldsmar, FL; Centerville, OH; Spring Hill, FL; and Broussard, LA. The brand also re-entered into O’Fallon, MO and Pembroke Pines, FL. Additionally, Signarama converted three locally owned sign businesses to Signarama stores in Pittsburgh, PA; Orlando, FL; and Warrensburg, MO. The company projects that they will add over 100 franchisees to the system in 2024, including new and converted sign business locations.

The winners will be announced on Thursday, February 15.
