DALLAS, TX, November 28, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Sixes Social Cricket, the innovative social cricket venue known for its immersive entertainment experience, is thrilled to announce a collaboration with Special Olympics Texas for a month-long initiative focused on giving back to the community.

To kick-off the philanthropic efforts, Sixes will host local Special Olympics Texas athletes for a cricket clinic at their Grandscape venue on December 4, 2023 in The Colony. This event will offer an afternoon of fun and camaraderie, as SOTX athletes from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex converge at Sixes for brief instruction within their state-of-the-art onsite batting cages. The clinic aims to provide an engaging experience, fostering a sense of inclusivity and enjoyment for all participants.

Continuing the efforts to maximize the season of giving, Sixes will launch a charitable donation line item today on Giving Tuesday. Customers making any in-venue purchase above $10 will have the option to donate $2, $5, or $10 towards Special Olympics Texas. All proceeds from these donations will directly benefit the organization and their initiatives.

“We are honored to join hands with Special Olympics Texas for this impactful initiative,” said Calum Mackinnon, co-founder of Sixes Social Cricket. “At Sixes, we believe in the power of community and inclusivity. This partnership allows us to support and uplift the incredible work done by Special Olympics Texas in empowering athletes of all abilities while having a bit of fun learning the basics of cricket.”
